what an odd game. I love it and had a lot of fun playing it, but it was still odd. Well played

Thanks for your feedback, the second version will be even odder :P

well put

pretty good all in all. a few notes: 1. Merry Christmas, not Happy Christmas, 2. would have been slightly more complex if Santa went though whenever you wanted and not before. and 3. Santa's reflection doesn't sinc

pretty good. Needed the walkthrough on this one and the writing is kinda hard to read, but pretty nice. There is at least one spelling mistake: You're successful not You're success

Wow... just wow... I wonder if the concept is that M wanted to help people escape the Submachine like the Matrix idea, and each time he goes after one, the sub-machine resets itself or if every sublayer actually has the exact same thing and one more person is able to escape using the clues left in the notes infused with karma. Who invented the submachine? How many people before me (the person who just escaped) was able to get out?

WHO IS SUNSHINE_BUNNYGIRL_17?

I guess time and space doesn't exist per say in the Submachine, or else it can pass by at a different rate, but it seems that our time travelers are aging a bit.

You know, Mr. Skutnik, It might have been 10 years for you, but ever since the Lab, ( Sub 4 I believe), I have been replaying every one of your Submachine games from the beginning. I just finished doing so now. I will admit that I don't have the ability not to use a hint here or there, especially for some pesky little secrets ( like the one in the red storage room in this game), but I have enjoyed every moment of it. It's because of artists like you that I work hard in order to make more than I need... so that I can offer you monthly contributions through Patreon. However, right now I can't, so I play the games and give reviews... It's been.... never that a game or series of game left me with the emptiness that lingers within a fan when a series ends. I have played series that have lasted far beyond 10 parts, but they haven't come close to the involvement that I have felt playing your games... Especially the questions I am left with.

I hope you don't mind, but I'd like to share a walkthrough that, in my opinion has really honored you by not showing the notes, secrets' messages or end of the game. I got it after searching jayisgames for hints when I got stuck and this has helped me get a glimps of what to do next, until I needed it again.

I have yet to know if you had planned Submachine 10 to tie into the other submachines as well as you did, or if you just used whatever you could to tie it all together, since pointless aspects in other games, like the Arcade game in the Lighthouse basement, were rather pointless in their original apperance. But it really doesn't matter. It was stitched together seamlessly and flawlessly.

I still have about 9'900 characters allowed that are left, and I would gladly use them to sing your praises, but, in all honestly, I am just awestruck and amazed at the experiance you have created and I have shared with you through your game. You are an amazing game master creator, a wonderful storyteller, and a beautiful historian by capturing aspects of the past in each of your games.

Well done. Bravo. Kudos and farewell.

Until your next release.

Awesome game. No problems other than "When is the squeal?

VFHolloway responds:

LOL not clear on the 'When is the squeal'... is that a soundtrack thing? otherwise, thanks for playing, appreciate the 5 stars :)

Very glitchy. Husband's dialogue is stuck on one subject, most alternative texts have an added text that makes no sense like "If you must" after I accused someone.

Also, basic game play is simple, but the detective part is kind of lacking. Just a stroke of luck to win the game or an assumption game.

Graphics are nice and music goes well and doesn't annoy easy. People are finding this hard and so I will make a walk through here.

Find the snowman head with a hat one (snowman 1) and click on it to read his mustache. Use that code on the alphabet puzzle to solve it and get matches.

Use the matches on the cute big headed snowman by the picture frame to melt it and get a screwdriver for the picture frame. Get a saw

Use the saw to cut the tape beside the dog as well as cut down the tree that's undecorated and get a mirror.

Use the mirror on the big eyed snowman to get his eyes and use it on snowman 1 to get a fishing pole allowing me to catch a fish for the penguin from the lake.

NOTE: The lake has 6 or so dark spots, fish them all to also get a present.

The magnifying glass that the penguin left reveals a code on the blue box with the candy canes.

Take that code and go to Snowman 1 to read the note next to his head. Now you know where to click on the snowman next to the christmas tree and get the dog's ball that he was hiding.

Obviously, be nice and give the dog back his ball to get a shovel.

Under the alphabet puzzle, there is a patch of snow that the shovel can clear, revealing an odd code, so I will help you solve it:
Look at the Christmas tree and note the colours of ornaments at the bottom.
Now go and look at the playing cards and note the 6 diamond cards face value in order. Notice that there are 6 ornaments and six cards. They relate, but this is the tricky part.
Go back to the lake and click on the house's white window to reveal a code sheet. Match the first colour to the first card value and use the code sheet to find what, for example "Purple 4" is code for. After doing that for all the colours, you now have a new code for the safe that you can now click on, and it will pop open giving you a candy cane for the blue box we saw earlier.

If you followed along and clicked on all the gift boxes so far, you have got them all, so go find Santa and poke his butt into action.

This game was quite hard and took me two tries.

Pretty nice game. Interesting levels! Can't wait until the next one.

Been a while that a platformer game challenged me this way. Way to go!
